Svenska Utifran is a series of educational materials for beginners in Swedish. The series consists of a textbook, short dictionaries (the Swedish-English & Swedish-German dictionary is out of stock and will not be reprinted), a set of cassettes or CDs, a schematic grammar featuring Swedish structures and everyday phrases, two exercise books and a pronunciation guide. The textbook is exclusively in Swedish and contains information about Swedish society and culture. The texts are illustrated with both drawings and photos. The grammar and exercise books are based on the textbook, but can also be used independently. It should be noted that the material is not intended for self-instruction.
